The Y&R spoilers for Monday, August 15, 2022, spotlight Victor Newman once again attempting to manipulate Chance Chancellor, while Victoria Newman does the same with Chance’s wife, and Phyllis Summers is vibrating with excitement at the promise of putting the screws to Diane Jenkins.
Victor very subtly sat behind a chessboard and fondled the King while explaining to Chance why investigating Ashland Locke’s death was a waste of his time.
Now, Victor is giving his son-in-law one more chance to prove his loyalty to his wife’s family by telling Chance a version of the truth. Victor’s version. And seeing how far Chance will go to prove it.
Meanwhile, Victoria opts for divide and conquer when she applies pressure to Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor to call off her husband. This wouldn’t only be for the good of the Newmans. It would be good for Chance, too.
