Victoria Newman Locke asked her family to trust her when it came to handling Ashland Locke. After they didn’t listen, she told them to trust her when it came to handling Ashland Locke.
Billy Abbott threatened Victoria with dire consequences if she attempted to take on Ashland by herself. Ashland threatened Adam with dire consequences if he attempted to take on Ashland by himself.
Victor, on the other hand, skipped Victoria as the middle man — she’s no man, why would he even bother consulting her about her own life? — and went straight to Ashland.
