With Adam taking over Newman Locke — temporarily, of course — he offered Sally Spectra the chance to step in for him. If Victor hated the idea of Victoria and Ashland being co-CEOs, we can’t imagine how he’d feel about Sally being a Newman’s equal. (Well, actually, we can imagine exactly how he’ll feel. We’re just being polite about it).
Good thing Adam and Sally don’t care what Victor — or anyone else — thinks. Which is why they make such a good — not to mention, hot and sexy — team. Jack is sad about Diane Jenkins’s return. He tells Phyllis, who decides to fight his battles for him. (We know she just wants her own chance to yell at Diane).
Victoria reassured her family that she would rid the company of Ashland for good. She accepts that her husband had lied to her from the beginning. He used her to get to his ultimate goal – to take over Newman Enterprises.
However, her plan could get complicated. She wants to set Adam Newman up to take the fall for the scam. He agrees to help Victoria. But Adam has a plan of his own. So she is forced to play both Adam and Ashland Newman.
