The Young and The Restless Spoilers for Monday, August 23, 2021, confirm that no one in Genoa City trusts Victoria Newman to make her own decisions. Victor Newman questions her fiancé, Nikki Newman questions her wedding plans, and Lily Winters questions why Billy Abbott is so invested in both.
The last time Victor had Ashland Locke on the ropes, he cleverly convinced the ruthless mogul to sell Victor his media company – by refusing to call an ambulance while Ashland was having a heart attack. That’s what we call a good business negotiation!
So Victor figures he’ll have no trouble figuring out if Ashland is marrying Victoria for her – er, Victor’s – company. But how many times will Victor prod before Ashland loses his good-natured tolerance…and strikes back?
Meanwhile, Nikki is helping Victoria plan the wedding. But she is starting to think it’s getting out of hand. Yes, the same Nikki who has had how many weddings? Will Victoria bring that up as her mother pushes back? And will Nikki also lose her good nature?

Some of these story lines are ridiculous, ie Mariah being locked up (she has a different outfit on every day, plus make up) yet she didn’t pack a bag when she left!! Plus, they have now decided to start the search for her (after many weeks)! I think TGVN’s security is a joke!! Heck, they can’t even take care of the ranch! Finally, the Chance story has gone on too long, why is Ben hanging around Abby! He acts weird!!
