Well, both Jack Abbott and Kyle Abbott vowed to protect Diane Jenkins. They whisked her away to the Abbott cabin (how long has it been since that place was mentioned?), and now they’re making sure everybody knows that Diane left Genoa City, but they don’t know where she went.
As part of their efforts to protect Diane, Jack and Kyle confront Jeremy Stark. Although he’s repeatedly said he’s not in town for nefarious reasons, everybody believes that Jeremy is hellbent on doing some damage — namely to Diane, but maybe to her family too, especially little Harrison Locke. Will Jack and Kyle be successful in their quest to get him to move on? Getting rid of Jeremy probably won’t be quite that easy.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers finally told the truth. Yes, she is the one who lured Jeremy to town in the first place — just like Diane accused her. Jack was furious, and Summer Newman Abbott seemed to feel the same way as her father-in-law.
