His youngest son knows how it feels to have the entire Newman clan gunning for you. It’s happened to him more times than he can count on The Young and the Restless. He feels unlikely sympathy for Ashland.
Probably because he’s been pushed around too much by Vikki. She’s clearly traumatized by what happened, but Adam knows she’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing. She goaded her ex-husband Ash to his breaking point. As did the rest of the family. Adam Newman reminds his dad that if they’d just let him take the money and say goodbye to Harrison, this would have ended peaceably. But the Newmans can’t just let things go.
