Oh, Jack. First, he dealt with a lack of love in his life by becoming obsessed with decoding a mystery about his mother, Dina Mergeron, the answer to which turned out to be…go love your family (and make them all jewelry from a piece belonging to your mother).
Then he dealt with not having Dina around to obsess over anymore by obsessing over his new grandson, Harrison. Then he dealt with Harrison and Kyle Abbott moving to Europe by deciding he was in love with Phyllis Summers again.
Now that Phyllis has put him in the friend zone, he’s obsessing over new granddaughter, Allie. He promised he wouldn’t crowd her with questions. He lied.
