Mariah Copeland disappeared weeks ago. She wasn’t on a business trip. She didn’t let her girlfriend know. She didn’t let her mother know. She is about to give birth to a baby that isn’t biologically hers. Sure, sounds legit, her alleged loved ones said.
It’s taken until now, when Mariah continues to only communicate by vague text and the original date for her return has come and gone, for her mom to suspect something might be wrong, and turn to her husband, the cop, for potential help.
And while Sharon considers the possibilities, Abby leaps straight to, oh, no, what if Mariah has run off with my baby? She turns to Devon Hamilton, the child’s biological father, for hysterical sympathy.
