The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, September 8, 2022, are the ashes of Nikki Newman and Phyllis Summers’s scheme against Diane Jenkins. A despondent Nikki looks for ways to move on, while Phyllis has only one move, and it includes Jack Abbott. Finally, Chelsea Lawson and Billy Abbott, both of whom just melted down, meet up…and heat up.
Chelsea has been busy tearing around town, forcing Sally Spectra, Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor, and Chance Chancellor to take time out of their busy lives to feel sorry for her.
Billy, on the other hand, tore into his brother because Jack was worried about him. Both of these fine and emotionally mature people come together to discuss how much everyone else sucks…and how they are the only ones who understand each other.
You have to give Phyllis credit for this: The woman never gives up. Never, ever. Even when she should. Even when it would be for her own good. Even when it hurts her most of all. No matter how many times Jack has made it clear he will never see the world the way Phyllis wants him to, she just can’t stop trying. So here she goes again.
