After being apprised of the scheme that Phyllis Summers and Nikki Newman cooked up — namely, that Phyllis will take a job at Marchetti and sabotage Diane Jenkins’s work from within — Ashley Abbott balks and insists that there must be another way to combat their mutual enemy.
When none is forthcoming, Ashley eventually relents and throws her all behind her partners’ plan. And while Phyllis sets about getting her affairs in order, Nikki learns that her efforts to dig up dirt on Diane may have paid off.
Look for tempers to flare between Devon Hamilton and Nate Hastings when yet another snafu on the part of the latter sees a musical act double booked for festivals in both Chicago and the West Coast.
