Phyllis already made her feelings about Jeremy’s potential threat (to Diane, at least) crystal clear. When Diane was obviously scared to be alone with him at Jabot, Phyllis “noped” right on out of there, citing loads of work. Look for her to play with fire where Jeremy’s concerned, and she may just end up pushing him, or possibly even Jack, too far. Will Phyllis get burned?
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is angry to see Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) in his office with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) on Y&R day ahead episode in Canada.
Then, Diane says the guy’s under the wrong impression that she helped the Feds put him away. Next, Jack tells him to go, but he won’t. So, he asks Stark how much he wants just to leave. Stark suggests she should be the one to “pay”. It’s a clear threat on Y&R.
Stark finally goes out, and Diane has another meltdown. Jack agrees that the guy wants revenge more than cash (or maybe both). He doesn’t know how to handle this since he won’t take a payoff.
