Victor can’t go a day without puffing out his chest with pride at what a brilliant job his firstborn and namesake, Victoria, is doing in her position as Chief Executive Officer of Newman Enterprises – which Victor gave her. He also can’t go a day without telling Victoria how to do it better. This is another one of those days.
On today’s The Young and the Restless, Diane heads to the Abbott mansion with a toy for her grandson. He’s in bed, but Jack Abbott’s there. They chat and she wants to know if her ex-paramour believes she’s changed and wants to be good.
After Jack assures Diane Jenkins that she’s got a clean slate with him, they get close. Diane kisses the father of her son for the first time in decades. Remember, on The Young and the Restless, that she daydreamed about them canoodling like this.
But when it does happen for real, Jack pulls back from her. While that’s not what Diane wanted to happen, it’s a promising start. But then everything goes off the rails because another man comes to town looking for her… And he’s bringing a load of her past dirty laundry with him…
