We did it! Victor vowed to bring down Chance Comm and he thinks he’s accomplished his goal by getting Billy to write an article based on Jesse Gaines’s accusations, then hacking into the Chance Comm system and publishing it – just as Jesse takes everything back.
(If you can’t win fair and square, then cheat – that’s the Newman family motto!) Victor knows he didn’t do anything wrong. Billy made Victor unhappy. So Victor broke the law to punish him. Yup, everything tracks.
And now he’s celebrating. Seriously – this man manages to be a hero – even in his own eyes? So while Victor gloats about framing a former family member, his wife is actually being a decent person.
