Jack Abbott and Phyllis Summers make entry into Keemo Volien Abbott’s Los Angeles abode, begin rummaging around the late man’s personal effects, and come across a stack of letters addressed to Jack. Upon reading the missives, Jack learns that Keemo was intending to reconcile with him.
Off that emotional revelation, the snooping pair cast their attentions toward a photograph of Keemo surrounded by several unknown persons and his half-sister, Mai. Then, a sound from outside alerts them to someone else on the property.
When Michael Baldwin proves unreachable two days running, Lauren Fenmore Baldwin begins to panic. She takes her concerns to Victor Newman, and he does his level best to assure her that there’s nothing to be concerned about…despite not believing a word coming out of his own mouth.
