The last time Maxie Jones and Austin Holt saw one another, she was furious at him for being the one who accidentally let Victor Cassadine know where Maxie was hiding Bailey Louise, resulting in Peter August kidnapping her. But, at least that all resulted in Peter’s death, so all’s well that ends well, right?
That’s what Austin hopes as he sees Maxie at the hospital holding her baby out in the open for the first time. As he delivered the baby, he is thrilled to see them, but Maxie doesn’t look happy at all. She is not sure how to even feel about Austin after all that happened.
Austin still has strong feelings for her, but does Maxie now realize what she thought she felt for him was fake and based on fear? Or, might there be hope for Maxie and Austin as a new couple? (Maxie does fall for those men who deliver her babies in the woods, doesn’t she?)
