Spencer Cassadine is called to give testimony, and much to Trina Robinson’s chagrin, he fails to provide her with the alibi she so desperately needs. But hope springs. Spencer also fails to account for Esme Prince’s whereabouts and movements the night that the illicit video was made.
After Spencer steps down, Trina readies herself to take the hot seat, but Diane Miller has an ace — in the form of a surprise witness — up her sleeve. Sonny Corinthos takes Brick into his confidence and reveals that he’s seriously considering slotting Dex into the position that Jason Morgan once filled.
Far from convinced that Dex has the chops — or is indeed worthy of the faith that Sonny has in him — Brick asks for and receives permission to do a deep dive into Dex’s past. But all that effort may be for naught, as Brando Corbin seems poised to blow Dex and Michael Corinthos’s secret partnership out of the water.
