So, the Young and the Restless leak we heard is that Lindsay Arnold is auditioning to be the new Faith Newman. But with an added age gap. Arnold is 23 and just exiting her role on Days of our Lives as Allie Horton.
She’s a few years older than the last Faith, Reylynn Caster, so she could come back with her college degree and get into the mix of more grown-up romances. Remember, Y&R had Sharon Rosales taking classes for a few months, then BAM — she was a therapist.
So, Faith scooping up her college degree in the six months since Faith has been off-screen falls in line with how the writers operate over at Young and the Restless. Again, there’s no word from the actress or the network confirming this. It’s a LEAK. Look at the pics above of Caster on the left and Lindsay Arnold on the right. It would be a recast of someone with a similar look, only a few years older. Arnold just wrapped her run on Days playing Allie Horton, a sexually fluid single mother.
