Jack Abbott has a change of heart about Diane Jenkins. He’s been awfully wishy-washy about her since her return. Mostly, Jack has left the whole thing up to Kyle Abbott. He’d seemed to warm up to her, but then Diane’s latest revelation about her past in Los Angeles put him back on the track of not being able to trust her.
Of course, that didn’t keep Jack from railing at Phyllis Summers for continuing to dig up dirt on Kyle’s mom. Could Jack finally be seeing Phyllis’s point of view, or will he decide…again…to give Diane yet another chance?
Speaking of Phyllis, she provides a voice of reason. That is somewhat unexpected from Phyllis, especially since she’s been so frantic lately, yelling to whoever will listen about Diane being a fraud. It’s not like Phyllis is known for being a rational influence on people most of the time, so whatever she does could be quite unexpected.
