The Young and the Restless spoilers for Monday, May 2, 2022, kick off a new month with Kyle Abbott coming face to face with Diane Jenkins, while Phyllis Summers advises Jack Abbott on how he should feel about the entire situation.
At the same time, Victor Newman is telling Abby Chancellor and Chance Chancellor about how they should be feeling. Listen to your elders, kiddos. Thinking for yourselves is so last century. “Why did you leave me?” Kyle demands of his mommy, and he certainly deserves to ask the question and to receive something satisfactory in return.
We’re just hoping he won’t act too much like a spoiled and petulant child, and more like the adult husband and father he keeps insisting he is. It’s going to be hard to teach Harrison Locke not to throw tantrums whenever he doesn’t get his way if Daddy is setting a bad example doing precisely that.
Kyle asked Jack and Phyllis to take Harrison out of the house while he talks to Diane, and Phyllis takes advantage of this ad hoc family time to remind Jack that Diane is a terrible person, and if he is even so much as thinking about seeing matters from his son’s mother’s point of view, then he…shouldn’t.
