The Young and the Restless spoilers for Wednesday, October 20, 2021, finally start seeing the consequences of what went on at Victoria Newman and Ashland Locke’s wedding as Lauren Fenmore Baldwin demands to know what happened to the dress she provided, Nikki Newman tries to play peacemaker between her husband and son, and Billy Abbott and Lily Winters head home – with Billy keeping a secret.
Lauren furnished the dress Victoria was supposed to wear when she exchanged her I Do’s. Lauren knew Victoria wasn’t thrilled, but she swore she’d get used to it. Then, Victoria shows up on the society pages in a completely different ensemble. One that was designed by the woman Lauren fired, Sally Spectra.
Lauren is livid, and she takes her ire out on sister-in-law Chloe Mitchell Fisher. Now, Chloe did know about the switch-a-roo. But Sally works for Chloe now, and Chloe doesn’t work for Lauren. So where does Lauren get off thinking Chloe owes her an explanation?
First, Nikki had to reconcile Victoria with her brother, when she no longer wanted Nick to come to her wedding. Now, Nikki has to reconcile Nick with Victor, as Nick is furious that his father didn’t listen to him about Ashland and, to add insult to injury, worked with Adam, instead. A mother’s work is just never done!
