When Nate told Ashland that Nate has evidence proving Ashland was never sick to begin with, Ashland threatened to ruin Nate’s medical reputation. But, ha-ha — Nate is about to get some even more powerful friends in his corner!
Now that Lily has convinced Devon Hamilton to merge his company with hers, they will basically own the media. And once you own the media, you can make sure that Nate’s reputation remains squeaky clean…while Ashland is the one the public turns on. That’s the whole point of having money — so you can tell the great unwashed masses what to think about…everything.
Would it be too much to hope that, as Ashland plans his exit strategy, we’ll discover that the last couple of years have all been a clever plan for him and his ex-wife to steal Newman Enterprises out from under Victor, and that, even now, they’re scheming to grab Harrison from Kyle Abbott — who was never the tot’s pop to begin with?
