Meanwhile, younger brother Adam Newman is down in the dumps over dumping the woman he loves — because he knows what’s better for her — better than she does, natch.
Adam knows only one thing to do when life doesn’t go his way. He runs straight to Sharon Rosales, the woman whose baby he once stole, and handed over to Ashley Abbott, the one who has asked him, multiple times, to please keep his distance.
But Sharon doesn’t really mean it. We — and Adam — know this because every time he comes crying, she’s there to give him a reassuring hug. Those are some seriously mixed messages she’s sending. And she’s not about to stop now.
