Adam Newman gets a chance to change his destiny, and Nicholas Newman looks to the past for tips about his future.
Chance stopped by to ask Victor some questions about Ashland Locke’s death. Victor literally smirked at this wet behind-the-ears upstart who thought he had any authority at the ranch just because he carried a badge and had fought for his country, and was a sworn officer of the law.
And then he proceeds to stonewall every question Chance asks, confident that no son-in-law of his would be so stupid as to challenge the word of Victor Newman. Not that he could outsmart Victor, even if he tried.
