When Victoria was first pledging her troth to Ashland Locke, Victor was running around Tuscany, insisting that he had thoroughly investigated his future son-in-law and anyone who didn’t take Victor’s word that Ashland was clean, was an ignorant traitor.
Now, Victor is running around Genoa City insisting that he has thoroughly investigated his new son-in-law and anyone who doesn’t take Victor’s word that Ashland is a dirty liar is an ignorant traitor.
You can see why Victoria is having a hard time believing Daddy. Good thing Nikki is firmly on the Victor train, and happy to step in and convince her daughter to take her father’s word over her husband. Or else she’s a…you know.
