Victor glowered approvingly when he learned that instead of calling 911 to help Ashland Locke , Victoria Newman and Nicholas Newman reached out to their brother-in-law, Chance Chancellor, to make sure the murder stayed in the family.
You don’t want the authorities getting mixed up in such personal matters! Alas, Chance refused to hand over police information to a civilian. Bastard! And now Nick has to tell his family he failed in persuading Chance to do just that.
All Chance would tell Nick is that they found a car with a body in it at the bottom of the river. But Michael Baldwin somehow already knew it was Ashland’s body. The question is, did Victor’s people put it there?
