The Young and the Restless spoilers for December 13 – December 17, 2021, tease a not-so-happy homecoming, an attempt to mend fences, a serious bluff, and so much more.
Upon returning to Genoa City, Chelsea Lawson makes a beeline for the Newman ranch – a move which greatly surprises Adam Newman and Victor Newman. The men are pleased to find Chelsea looking well and catching Nikki Newman up on the life she led while caring for Anita.
When Nikki and Victor take their leave in order to give Chelsea and Adam some privacy, things do take a decided turn to the awkward – especially when Chelsea broaches the subject of there still being a ‘her and Adam’ in the romantic sense.
Nikki summons Nicholas Newman to the ranch, with the claim that she’s dealing with a family emergency and is in need of support. But when Nick arrives, he finds everything copacetic, and Nikki reveals it was all a ruse to force a confrontation between him and Victor.
