Fortunately, Adam grew up, out of sight, out of mind, on said farm. But then he returned. Victoria and Nick pretended to welcome him into the clan, but that didn’t work, and soon they had lots of official reasons not to.
But now they have the best one of all: Adam is working for the enemy…Jabot. Which means they can go after him with impunity and claim they’re only doing it out of loyalty to Daddy. Victor can’t possibly chastise them over it then!
Victor goes to confront Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) on the CBS soap. He wants to know why he hired Adam. Also, that day, Diane Jenkins finds out who’s behind the embarrassing tabloid story.
Victor surprises Jack during their confrontation, but will he admit that he’s partially responsible for his estrangement with Adam? Plus, Adam senses something going on between his big brother and his ex-girlfriend. He’s right because the two just shagged in her office while he was waiting outside the door. Will he find out and explode?
