The Young and the Restless spoilers for Friday, April 1, 2022, tease an April Fool’s Day to remember, as Jack Abbott ponders how he could have been fooled by that whole the mother of your son is definitely dead thing.
However, Phyllis Summers and Lauren Fenmore Baldwin aren’t fooled by Michael Baldwin’s claims that he is totally safe from the wrath of Ashland Locke — after all, he has Victor Newman to protect him! (You know, the way Victor protected Michael from being thrown in jail on trumped-up charges in Peru and didn’t lift a finger to find, much less rescue him.)
As Jack told Allie Nguyen, he thought Diane Jenkins was dead. Not just dead, murdered. By Nikki Newman. And Nikki has killed before. She’s usually pretty good at it.
The Genoa City Police Department investigated her death. We presume that included an autopsy. Diane sure looks intact, doesn’t she…? And not at all decomposed. So what’s going on? That’s what Jack is trying to figure out. April fools!
