The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, September 6, 2022, find Victor Newman furious to learn that his son continues to have thoughts of his own, while Lily Winters isn’t too thrilled to learn that Billy Abbott is partnering up with Chelsea Lawson again, and Tessa Porter and Mariah Copeland are downright disappointed that they might not have the future they want.
Victor wasn’t happy that Nicholas Newman refused to fire Sally Spectra after she failed to convince Adam Newman to return to the family fold. Now, Victor is even more incensed to learn that Adam actually still has feelings for Sally and only quit in order to protect her job! Did Victor tell Adam to do that?
Victor did not tell Adam to do that. Did Victor give Adam permission to do that? Victor did not give Adam permission to do that. So what, exactly, is going on here? Has the world gone mad? Tessa and Mariah struck out with a private adoption attorney who thought their criminal records might keep a birth mother from choosing them.
So now they’re brainstorming. Have they considered a closed adoption, where the birth mother wouldn’t know anything about them? How about adopting from the foster care system (which, by the way, also has some pretty strict rules about past crimes, so this is hardly a unique prejudice)?
